Even the Francophones are saying it

Normally when hears voices fortelling the end for Belgium they are speaking with distinctly Flemish accents. However Gulf Stream Blues has spotted that these days it is not just the Flemish who are foretelling an end game for that unhappy country,

Francophone socialist Philippe Moureaux came out saying Belgium is on the verge of an orderly separation. Rudy Demotte, the head of the government of Wallonia, said that “all options” are now on the table for them. Francophone Socialist Laurette Onkelinx told the magazine DH Dimanche, “We must prepare for the end of Belgium, otherwise we might be the ones to suffer.”

There is speculation that this is merely a pre-Government negotiating tool, but if so it is pretty extreme stuff for the Walloons.
