Though for the day

“There will be, in the next generation or so, a pharmacological method of making people love their servitude, and producing dictatorship without tears, so to speak, producing a kind of painless concentration camp for entire societies, so that people will in fact have their liberties taken away from them, but will rather enjoy it, because they will be distracted from any desire to rebel by propaganda or brainwashing, or brainwashing enhanced by pharmacological methods.
And this seems to be the final revolution.”

Aldous Huxley.

Maybe it won't be pharamacological, but he has a point. How close are we to this?

It's already happening! Why do you think they put flouride in the water supply? It has the chemical properties to do just that. It certainly doesn't stop tooth decay like they say it does, or there wouldn't be such a long waiting list to see the NHS dentists, and all the private dentists would be out of business!

My dentist owns a Ferrari! Get a water filtration system and you're sorted.
