Celebrated by a flypast of the Red Arrows and four Eurofighters over London, the 90th birthday of the Royal Air Force was marred only by the moronic twittering of a BBC hack whom someone rather unwisely let in the back seat of one of the Hawks.
As the aircraft steamed majestically over the House of Commons, just as Big Ben chimed one, this dismal little prat called off the altitude as "400 metres". He should perhaps know that the only Air Force that ever used metric measurements over London was the Luftwaffe.
Good of the BBC to continue the tradition.

Thanks for that Richard
Going to have to quote Richard North's comments about the BBC reporting of yesterday's RAF anniversary flypast in Westminster because it made me smile on a sad day,
