Respect

According to reports a a patrol of 4 Royal Marines held of an onslaught from over 200n heavily armed Talban fighters until relieved 4 hours later.
They had only been in the country for 5 days.

What can one say?

However there is something in the piece that doesn't feel right,
"The heroes were helped by soldiers from the Afghan National Army in what marines have dubbed “Afghanistan’s Rorke’s Drift”.

No suggstion of how many Afghan troops were there. The tone of the piece suggests few, but who knows?

Interesting side report sugesting that there are recommendations for 6 VC's in the upcoming Afghan campoaign medal collection. That is prety serious stuff.

They were ably assisted by a group of Brown skinned people......

Where do they find the people who write such stuff?
