What an appalling speaker. I'm afraid that this sort of soapbox ranting only puts people off his cause. It is so bad that one of his colleagues hides himself for most of it by pretending to be cleaning a mobile telephone. Dreadful stuff.
Unbelievable this did not even make the news! Not only have the wonders of postmodernism turned the anti-authoritarians into authoritarians (as if this dichotomy ever existed), value qualifications without further argument are almost exclusively uttered by 'critics' called Anomymous. Europe is turning into a post-democratic crypto fascist super state. We have been warned.
With respect I think it would have to be very very slow day for the "news" to feature a rant from an unknown politician in a chamber few people would even recognise.

It is precisely because the "debates" of the Congress of European Peoples' Deputies are not reported by the MSM in Britain that the Euro-elites (of which the two Anonymi here are a very small part of the the trumpet section) can continue with their Anschluss of the former democracies of Western Europe without serious protest.
As for Mr Farage's "soapbox ranting", at least he cares enough to get angry about the gross discourtesy and barely concealed menace exhibited by the MEPs toward the President of the Czech Republic.
The Euro-elites would do well to remember that the Czechs are a proud people who do not yield easily to threats from bigger neighbours. The last corporal to try it only succeeded because the then Czecholsovakia was betrayed by Britain and France.
Perhaps M. Cohn-Bendit or Herr Pottering fancy themselves as the future Reichsprotektor of Bohemia and Moravia? Let us hope that it does not become necessary for freedom-loving people in the former democracies of Europe to have to resort to assassination as a means of protest against a tyrannical regime.

At the tender age of 46, I will take that as a back-handed compliment.
As for brevity, I admit that it is my weak point. It comes from a grammar-school exam-factory education - never use one word with an Anglo-Saxon root when you will get far more marks for using three with Latin roots...
Then when you finally get out into the real world after 11 years in the academic sausage-machine, your manager wants you to condense your carefully crafted analysis of a problem into a few bullet points!
