This is getting silly,

Primary school children have been banned from playing all contact games in the playground.

'Tig' is among the 'rough and inappropriate' games axed by St John's Primary School to make its pupils better and more gentle citizens.

Children who link arms also risk breaking the ban at the school in Grantham Road, Bracebridge Heath.
