Finally, spotters badge to the Times for this delicious quote from wee Douglas Alexander, announcing tougher penalties for drivers who use their mobiles whilst at the wheel:

"It's quite simple - it's impossible to do two things at once and do them well.”

Douglas Alexander is Secretary of State for Transport.

What you don't understand is that wee Douggie is superior to you and me in practically every way and so doing three things at once really isn't a problem. I'm sure that he can do 6 impossible things at the same time, before breakfast
