Luxemburger PM and current EU rotating President Jean Claude Juncker played up French fears in by claiming that the “Anglo-Saxon world” would “not be dissatisfied with a French ‘No’ vote in an interview in the Luxembourgois press. . Claiming that this would suit the US and other Anglo Saxon countries he rather forgot that the UK is an Anglo-Saxon country and is a member of the EU. So he seems to believe that one EU country wants another to fail – all not very Communitaire and very off message.
He then rallied the French by claiming that "Each personal vote is a continental vote. Each French citizen decides not only for France but also for Europe ".
