In a shocking disclosure the Finnish liberal paper Helsingin Sanomat has pointed out that "Poland is “sliding” towards premature elections, because the opposition is exerting pressure on the weakened leftist minority government to resign".

This is of course important because the opposition is essentially eurosceptic and would use their new position to campaign for a No vote. The PM is frightened that Poland would then be labelled as a European "sluggard"
