Nobody likes you. Everybody hates you

Just 'cos you give political succour to murderous thieving bastards.
As I write this a bunch of TDs from the Irish Dáil are having lunch in the European Parliament in Strasbourg. The delegation have been meeting with a whole bunch of important European Parliament types. However they are not meeting anybody from the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs.
Which is odd.
It is odd because all MEPs on that Committee were invited to meet them. What is more one MEP took up the offer. That MEP was Mary Lou McDonald the Sinn Féin MEP for Dublin.
I understand that this was transmitted back to the Dáil team and they, ahem, cancelled the meeting.

Update

I understand that the TDs called off the boondoggle due to the by-elections back home, but the "senior officials" still snubbed the unpleasant woman.

Don't you feel a little stupid for posting a fantasy blog? I have to assume you are stupid, gullible, misinformed or a liar.

Mary Lou Fan
Don't you feel stupid when you haven't a clue what you are talking about? No I suppose you don't even have the wit to feel embarrassed by your own ignorance.

Mary Lou fan,

Which bit is misinformed - the cancellation of the meeting - confirmed and corroborated; trying to raise support for the Colombia three in the week that they were senteced to 17 years for terrorist offences, whereupon they suddenly disappeared - SF forced to back down since the French Communists to which they are allied were campaigning AGAINST FARC for the reease of a French journalist - confirmed and corroborated.

More amazing was that the secretariat of the Civil Liberties Committee knew who she was as she has only attended for a total of 20 mins since the European Parliament elections.

But then even the EP has occasionally been know to object to apologists for terrorists, criminals, kidnappers and Nazi sympathisers

Thanks for the support, though a slight fact check, the french citizen was a Colombian presidential candidate not a journalist. Oh and I wasn't aware Mary Lou had turned up to work so often.

‘As I write this a bunch of TDs from the Irish Dáil are having lunch in the European Parliament in Strasbourg.’

Well that was entirely false as they were all in Dublin.

‘The delegation have been meeting with a whole bunch of important European Parliament types.’

False they didn’t many anyone as they were in Dublin.

‘However they are not meeting anybody from the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs.
Which is odd.’

Flase, not odd but impossible as they were in Dublin.

How can I or anyone else take your ‘insider’ information on face value when you post an entire entry based on fiction?

Lie spotter
Do you possibly understand the difference between an honest mistake - making a statement believing it to be true, as I did in this post, and a lie, which I understand to be a deliberate mistruth? Now how is it that you became aware of the fact that the TDs did not visit France. Could it be that you read it in my update perchance. Do you know how I found out, I spoke to the civil servant who was organising the trip. How do you get around the fact that your own comment is based on a false premise, that a mistake is a lie.

What is not false is that even the civil servants who came to Strasbourg this week - and yes I can name them all - refused to meet Mary Lou. That is an incontrovertible and documented fact. (Yes I have the documents).

Now when it come to lying then Sinn Fein at least know of which they speak. After all when Martin McGuinness said that he had never met Tom Hanlon, that was a complete and utter lie, in the sense of a deliberate mistruth intended to mislead.

There again with those Nazi links Sinn Fein at least learnt from the masters ""If you're going to tell a lie, tell a big lie. The people will believe that at least some of it is true".

As my name will be on your list along with those of my colleagues, I may approach the EP to see what fictional documents they have relating to us. We didn't refuse to meet anyone. All meetings were cancelled when the delegation pulled out, there was no scope for meetings with civil servants in isolation, the thought wasn't even raised. You are making false allegations about the actions of the Irish civil service and implying political motivation in what is a fictional circumstance. We are a professional apolitical body and would not operate in the manner you claim.
