Kosovo in Schaerbeek

For a moment from the noise I thought that Glatsaray must have won a match, but turning round the corner it became apparaent that it wasn't the Turks, but their close cousins the Kosovars.


I had an inward revulsion for all the carrying on, but I checked it. What will I do when we finally leave the EU if I were still to be living here?

Driving round the gemeente waving the Union flag will be the least of it.

Kroll had an excellent cartoon in Le Soir today. An elderly Kosovar sitting watching the telly is firing off his hunting rifle in jubilation. His granddaughter says "Hang on grandpa, apparently Belgian TV occasionally does this kind of spoof".
