It is the fault of the elite

Well, we know that, but it is nice that a Nobel Laureat agrees with us. As Timmy points out, Paul Krugman hits the nail on its head,
No, the real story behind the euromess lies not in the profligacy of politicians but in the arrogance of elites — specifically, the policy elites who pushed Europe into adopting a single currency well before the continent was ready for such an experiment.

Pounds or Euros ?
With so few Englishmen willing to
stand up to be counted ,it is
of little consequence whats in his
wallet.Blame the elite,blame the
politicians,blame the media,its
oh so easy.Want to find the real culprits,have a stroll through
Sainsbury's on a Saturday afternoon,stand near the wine shelves, there they are with plenty to spare.
