It's not the closure of Unwin's that's interesting, it's the timing of the election of the new Tory leader he would have to compete with, or at least when opinion polls began to show a Cameron lead.

Odd thought but despite only being in harness for a couple of monthsit is possible that Cameron will be the longest surviving national party leader before the year is out.
